With nearly a decade of experience of working with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community based organisations (CBOs) in Southeast Asia, the Nomads 4 Good team has a wealth of knowledge regarding community development in the region. From facilitating capacity building projects along the Thai-Burma/Myanmar border to fundraising for the schooling costs for at-risk youth in Cambodia, we’ve always strived to work at the grassroots level to ensure that our efforts have the greatest positive impact.
We understand the importance of the skills that volunteers can bring to an organisation and how that, by working alongside them in person, tasks can be completed that much easier and quicker than by working with someone remotely. Hence, the idea of Nomads 4 Good was born - creating a platform which easily connects people with skills to nearby organisations.
The Nomads 4 Good team is passionate about building the capacity of NGOs & CBOs in the region, we seek to provide quality over quantity and to create a meaningful and fulfilling experience both for location independent workers and organisations.
HOW IT WORKS
All available volunteer positions can be found on the opportunities page. The applicant simply has to click on the position that interests them, fill out a few details and submit that alongside their CV/Resume and any examples of previous work which might help the organisation gain a better understanding of the persons skill set and style. The Nomads 4 Good team will vet these applications and forward them onto the organisation. If your skills are of interest then you’ll hear back from the organisation and you can form a working relationship between yourselves.
